Dan P. Baginski

Dan has extensive experience in the financial services industry specializing in structuring, pricing and raising capital for business acquisitions, expansions, management take-overs, leveraged buy-outs and corporate restructurings.  Dan founded Salish Capital after working as Vice President in the Debt Funds Group at GSO Capital Partners, a credit based hedge fund wholly owned by The Blackstone Group.  As a senior analyst for GSO Capital, Dan covered the gaming/lodging, defense/aerospace, transportation/infrastructure, agriculture, financial technologies and other select industries, underwriting and managing exposure throughout the capital structure (loans, bonds, mezzanine, equity) within these industry verticals

He served in similar capacity with RBC Capital Markets (The Royal Bank of Canada).  Prior to that, he worked in the Leveraged Finance Groups at Mizuho Financial Group (The Fuji Bank, Ltd.) and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi.  Dan holds a MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's from the University of Puget Sound.
